Wuerttembergischer Yacht-Club in Friedrichshafen

A private club similar to the adjacent Harvard, Yale, Cornell etc. clubs - try to go if you can get an invite. Beautiful model room, bar downstairs, old school marble(?) staircase in the main lobby, rooms upstairs to stay for the night should you be interested. Outdoor patio for drinks and $1 dollar oysters in the summertime. Rooms are outfitted with coffee makers, wireless charging, HDTVs, and original nautical artwork. General managers and staff are the top brass. Proud and enormously privileged to be a member here.

Incredible detail inside, quite unexpected! The detail in the ceilings and walls is like stepping back in time. Visited for business event and food was very good too.

Not open to public. Fabulous piece of history dating back to the mid 1800s

Attended our Annual Rolex Xmas party and as always food was amazing and staff was superb.

Walked in and attended a fully catered private party with open bar with a bunch of affluent gents. Unfortunately I was at the wrong place, but nonetheless this place is incredible. Gorgeous architecture and some amazing model boats. Great staff, service, and food.

This place has beautiful architecture inside and out. If you are lucky enough to be a member or an invited guest the Model room is fantastic. Not just for the history of the America's Cup and the Navy but also for the architecture of the molding and fireplace.

If you know a member and every get the chance to come here, don't pass on it. It is steeped in history (i.e. America's cup) and the members are quite amazing!

The owner of the Supreme Silver Cup for over 100 years, and the streets of the photos posted are close to many clubs such as Harvard and Cornell. A world that we Japanese cannot understand. I asked to show me inside, but nobody except members. I saw a big cut model, but the photo was no good. By the way, I met a Japanese gentleman in a polo shirt with NYYC embroidery at the JFK lounge on the way home. When I asked, I joined the regatta and was a member of NYYC. They say that they don't sell shirts except to members.

Exceptional for those who are lucky enough to be able to return! Mythical places of the US Voike and the Couoe of America !!!!

You cannot waltz into this club in jeans or sneakers. When you walk up the stairs to the ballroom area, the room feels like you're on a deck of a boat with model board pinned all over the walls.

Although I didn't get to see everything, I thought this place was amazing.
